1. Question of the Day: When you have a creative block, what do you do to get out of it? Some of the answers were entertaining and most were very helpful
- look through quilt books
- drink some wine
- clean up
- sideways move
- set aside project and think about it
- give up/ come back later
- start a new project
- pick up an older UFO
- look at pictures of quilts in books, magazines, on Pinterest, other online sources
- revisit the UFO closet
- work on a charity quilt
- pick up a mindless project
- channel quilt
- read magazines, book
- remind yourself quiltmaking is supposed to be fun
- don't work on it
- move to knitting
- hang project on design wall and keep it in view for a few days
- let your mind process the problem while sleeping
- will let you know
- Cut up 2.5" squares or another useful unit
- deadlines motivate
- thumb through books at the bookstore
- go to a museum
- mindlessly chain piece useful units (4 patch, 9 patch) that you might be able to use later
