June Meeting Tomorrow!

by Adrianne

We have a meeting this coming Saturday and I hope you can all come!  Our coordinators have been working hard behind the scenes lining up some really great stuff for the guild.  This month along with the usual Show & Tell and Free Sewing time, we will have a fun Swap, a Presentation on Design, an announcement of an upcoming activity, and a recap of Quilt Market.  It's almost too much awesomeness for one day.  I hope you can handle it! : )  Come early and grab a good seat.

STUD AND A DUD (a book swap)
Did you find your DUD?  I can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans Amanda has planned for this crazy swap.  I have both of my books picked out and now I'm trying to decide if I should wrap my dud book plain for a stealthy approach or really over-the-top for a pick me, pick me approach.  If you are participating please remember to bring two books, one good one (STUD) unwrapped, and one not so good one (DUD) wrapped. We will be swapping at the meeting and you will go home with two books. Details can be found here (http://bamodernquiltguild.ning.com/forum/topics/swap-2-a-stud-and-a-dud).

CHALLENGE BLOCKS
If you have finished making either your QuiltCon challenge block or the Bay Area Modern one please DO NOT bring it until next month.  It will be even more fun to have a big ooooh aaaaaah block sharing party together in July.

NEW MEMBERS
If you’ve never been to a meeting before this will be a great meeting to see a lot of new projects and meet our members.  Your first meeting is free and you can read about becoming a member here (http://bayareamodernquiltguild.blogspot.com/p/membership.html).  If you have any questions, ask any officer.  We’re happy to talk with you.

See you Saturday!
