Address: 1044 Middlefield Rd., Redwood City, Ca 94063. We meet upstairs Community
Room (the elevators are on the far left of the entrance).
Bring:
- Name tag
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Your personal challenge for the month: your 18" x WOF free motion quilting practice piece. C'mon, you can do it! Even I, who quilts by checkbook, have been working on it.
- Charity blocks and quilts. Currently the Charity Committee is asking for quilts made from half square triangles. If you want to blow out a quilt or blocks by tomorrow check the directions
- Show and tell about what you have been working on this month. Did you finish a quilt? Did you make a bag? Do you need help?
- Small group projects: Tula Pink blocks, round robin pieces and parts, Color group work, hand quilting questions, projects and issues,
- Some snacks to share
- Entries to the San Mateo County Fair. Our members won ribbons and cash prizes last year, so consider entering. Online entries are open.
- BAMQG Annual Retreat is full. You will have to bribe or cajole someone for a space. You could also ask to be on the waiting list.
- Jackie Gehring workshops- space is available
- Prepare your entries for the Amish inspired Modern quilt exhibit at the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles in November. Exact dates TBA.
- Claudia Comay's Codes & Ciphers quilt class at Wooden Gate in Danville: May 2 and 9, 2014. 10-1pm
